Canada Gazette
Canada Gazette is the official news bulletin of the
Government of Canada, published by the Canadian Government Publisher since
1841. Canada Gazette Part I, published weekly, contains all formal public
notices, official appointments, miscellaneous notices and proposed regulations
from the government and private sectors. Canada Gazette Part II, published
twice weekly, contains regulations and other statutory instruments. Canada
Gazette Part III, published as soon as is reasonably practicable after
Royal Assent, contains the most recent Public Acts of Parliament and their
enactment proclamations.

Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms
Section of the Department of Justice Canada Website
presenting the text of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. The
Charter is an important statement of human rights policy and is enacted
as Schedule B to the Constitution Act 1982 (1982, c.79). In the UK, the
Charter is Schedule B to the Canada Act 1982 (1982, c.11). The Charter
is presented on the site in English and French language versions in HTML
format.

There is a searchable database, covering two decades and including references to over 115,000 publications. The database links to the electronic full-text for more than 23,000 documents.

Indian and Northern Affairs Canada
Web site of the Canadian Government's Department of
Indian and Northern Affairs, it includes profiles of the Inuit and First
Nations peoples, elders, women, Aboriginal awareness, Indian and Inuit

International Trade Canada (ITCan)
The Government of Canada's former Department of Foreign Affairs and International
Trade has split into two separate departments which, between them, continue
the services and programmes provided by the former DFAIT. FAC supports
Canadians abroad, works towards a more peaceful and secure world, and
promotes Canadian culture and values internationally. ITCan supports the
development of trade by providing services to exporters, developing policy,
and by attracting investment in the Canadian economy.

Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat
The Treasury Board Secretariat provide advice and
support to ministers of the Treasury Board. The website contains a large
amount of information,
structured by activity or by area of interest (eg "managers", "media", "canadians" etc).
The website also includes reports on spending priorities for the Government
of Canada, and evaluation of government departments. These are most
easily accessed from the "Navigate by: activity" or "Quick
links to" menu options.
